(KRON) -- A Santa Rosa woman is accused of embezzling more than $180,000 from a Rohnert Park business while she worked as its office manager, according to the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety (RPDPS).
Marie Catherine Weerts was arrested Tuesday. It is not clear how long Weerts worked at the business or when the crimes occurred.
RPDPS said a lengthy investigation also uncovered evidence of more financial crimes, such as forgery and check fraud committed against the business.
Weerts was booked on multiple charges at the Sonoma County Main Adult Detention Facility.
